Inked trees

One of my New Year’s resolutions was to go all out “balls to the wall” style and try new mediums. Good, ole ink was one of them. Here are the inked versions of the scary Jersey tree sketches I did a while ago. I think my line work is a little heavy, but I’m planning on using these sketches for silk screening (yup, another new medium to give it a go) so I want it to show up when the images are reduced to fit the screen size.
