I was only in Melbourne for a day, but oh, I’m so fond of it! I wish I could have stayed longer. I took the graffiti photos during a morning walk. I woke up at 5:30 AM (snuck away from the tour group, hehe) to wander around on my own.
It seems penguins are everywhere. =)
I love miso + ghostpatrol!! =) Very cool to see their work in person!
Caught the sneaker exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. We met a really nice guard there, Don Clemete. He’s a huge art history buff (hails from Liverpool and dreams about visiting museum mile in NY). He carries lil’ lined sketch books and he draws the art as he makes his rounds. Very cool! He’s got his dream job and is surrounded by what he loves.

Whew, it feels nice to flex my Illustrator muscles again! I’ve been falling behind with my open source monsters, so I sort of cheated and combined blots 8, 9, + 10 together. I hope you like it (I made a lil’ cameo, too). I will post the process later. 
I still need to get some sleep in. I gave in and took a 4 hr nap after my last post. It’s 6:52 AM now, + I need to catch a bus into the city in 6-7 hrs? So I bid you farewell for now. If any of you are attending the AIGA fresh dialogue, I’ll see you there!

Hallo again! As promised, I’ll be posting some photos from my trip. I took a tonne of them, but no worries, I won’t put you through the awful tourture of seeing ALL of them.
This was the view when I first hopped off the bus. Not bad, eh?
This was taken after I slipped on some cow poo. Haha, I’m fine. I regained balance and luckily didn’t fall into it. I had to wash my sneakers though—yuck.

Hallo everyone! I trust you’re all enjoying your long weekends. =) I just flew back on the red eye from LA and am trying to stay awake to re-adjust my sleep schedule. Alas, I only got 15 minutes of sleep on the flight so this is probably a losing battle. I already feel my eye lids closing on their own accord.
It feels good to be back home! I came back to a lovely surprise—not one, but two packages greeted me.
The one on the left is from Adrian, and the one on the right is from Stefan. =D
Stickers, postcards, and a fun tee in the first package. How sweet of him! Thanks, Adrian. =)
Yay!!! And my original monster from Stefan! Danke!!! We agreed to an art swap a while ago. I mentioned that I really liked the way he drew bark, so he kindly drew a winged friend perched on a branch. He also included a very nice handwritten note =) Such a kind and funny guy!

Thanks to Kim for discovering that our database got corrupted. Not sure what happened or when it happened, but it seems to be only affecting core NvP stuff.
