Crushes

I was chatting w/ a friend the other day, and he mentioned that he missed my posts about my “crushes” (from this older blog that I used to write in). Haha, nono, Penguin’s the only man for me, so let me clarify a bit. I get these “design crushes,” “illustrator crushes,” “musician crushes,” well, you get the idea. Just like a romantic crush, I get a huge rush whenever my favorite artist puts out new work. And sometimes it’s so good that I get goosebumps.
Funny thing, some of my “crushes” are friends of mine. And I’m not entirely sure that they know how I feel about their work! I have this one friend who’s such an amazing video guy. He’s working on something for Nine Inch Nails now (and I’m insanely jealous).
