I was only in Melbourne for a day, but oh, I’m so fond of it! I wish I could have stayed longer. I took the graffiti photos during a morning walk. I woke up at 5:30 AM (snuck away from the tour group, hehe) to wander around on my own.

Caught the sneaker exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria. We met a really nice guard there, Don Clemete. He’s a huge art history buff (hails from Liverpool and dreams about visiting museum mile in NY). He carries lil’ lined sketch books and he draws the art as he makes his rounds. Very cool! He’s got his dream job and is surrounded by what he loves.

Melbourne ipod soundtrack (Melbourne was my first stop in Oz, so I thought I’d listen to some boys from Australia):

+ ponyloaf (from Brisbane)

+ cut copy (from Melbourne)

+ the avalanches (from Melbourne)
