Illustrator: Scott M. Fischer

A few months ago, I randomly stumbled upon 36-year-old sci-fi/fantasy illustrator Scott M. Fischer. He’s got big geek appeal, having illustrated for both Magic and D&D. Um, in case you’re wondering, I don’t play either of them, haha. To add to his geek cred, he’s also created works for Halo (see above) Star Wars, + Harry Potter. My favorites are his most recent silhouette pieces for Geraldine McCaughrean’s Peter Pan in Scarlet (published by Simon & Schuster).
Background: he graduated from Savannah College of art and design with honors (and awarded ‘painter of the year’).
