Feist, crocodile ninja, + crow samurai
Ninja June 15th, 2007
This past Tuesday, I was walking in the subway station, trying to catch the R train, when I saw a small flyer on the steps. I stooped over to pick it up, and there looking back at me were Leslie’s big, doe eyes. What?! Feist and Broken Social Scene are coming to Brooklyn?! I couldn’t believe it. I shoved the small scrap of paper into my purse, got back home, looked online, and sure enough, it was true. I bought 2 tickets today.
Unfortunately, the concert’s in August. Then, Penguin will be away in India for missions. I’ll miss him while he’s out there writing software for a new financial program for small businesses and volunteering at an orphanage. =)
My friend, Zach was amazingly kind and actually re-scheudled his vacation time, so that he could go with me to the concert. To thank him, I offered to make him a painting of anything he wanted. His response…
