Longest Forever

Dream-like, faint memories. Embraces in the fog. Haunting stares. Fascinated by the paranormal, Edwin Ushiro’s artwork is usually inspired by ghost stores. My favorites are his Pali series (based off an old Hawaiian story where a young rape victim is strangled with her jump rope and later comes back as a ghost to find her murderer).

Bio:
Edwin Ushiro was born + raised in Wailuku, Maui. He attended the University of Hawaii, Manoa and later graduated with Honors and a BFA in Illustration from the Art Center College of Design, California. He was the storyboard artist for horror thriller, Living Hell (2007) + the TV series, Angel (1999), as well as the conceptual designer for CSI: Miami (2002-2003).
