Nina David’s Herzchen

I remembered Herzchen, as I’m venturing out into wedding invite land again. o.O
Last year, I was looking around for new fonts for wedding invites. For some past invites, I’ve used P22 Cezanne (which I see everywhere now), Fairfield 45 Light, + Bembo.
I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this playful upright italic font, Herzchen (Deutsch for “sweetheart”) by Nina David.
It’s got a good set ligatures + ornaments too, yay!
Nina’s work was inspired by Jean-François Porchez’s Parisine, which also boasts some unusual (but pretty) ligatures.
