OS blot no. 16

Good mornin’! Hope your weekend was well + restful. =)

On Saturday, I was able to get my ink on with blot no. 16!

After watching Stefan’s lil’ flighty, feathery neighbors, I was inspired to make blot no. 16 into a hummingbird.

    Haha, oy...

    I was such a rebel in my short-lived Chinese painting class! I still don't blend how you're supposed to. And of course, I shame myself every time I pick up my mao bi b/c I hold it like a pencil. Oh well.

    Love love love this! Soo whimsical and fun! I'm SURE you've made more than just your Chinese painting teacher proud! :) I did it for one year at Chinese school too - I definitely had the brush all wrong too. All I remember painting were the goldfish and panda bears (I made mine into Ghetto CareBears on clouds - that's probably why she didn't like mine, ha ha).
