I was revisiting NY documentary photographer, Kristen Ashburn’s heartbreaking BLOODLINE PROJECT, + I couldn’t help but cry. In 2001, along with Contact Press Images, she began to photograph the impact of AIDS + these lives in South Africa.

    That is true. Even though there are many forms of cancer, if the right cure were found, the principle behind it could probably be applied to many of them.

    I remember when I was a kid. I thought these diseases would be cured by now.

    I think the cure for AIDS is just as hard.

    Those are some incredible photos. I hope sometime within our lives they find a cure for both Aids and cancer. Cancer will probably be tougher because there are so, so many forms. But Aids is killing so many people. :(
