Fashion designer: Nina Valenti

On Sunday, I went with a couple of friends to the NYC Young Designers’ Market. There I met Parsons fashion design grad, Ms. Nina Valenti, and fell in love with her designs. Her clothing line, Nature vs Future, has classic lines with a futuristic twist. Not only do her clothes look fabulous on models, they also look really good on the average woman. I bought an olive green suit made of organic cotton. The thing’s machine washable, but I’m probably going to take it to the dry cleaners for fear of shrinkage. Check out some of her designs:
