An Exercise in Vigilance is the short film by the people from Deep Structure
The production values are pretty high for a short film. Even though it’s engaging, it lacks that sense of suspense. Mainly because we don’t know the characters. That’s really the difficulty with short films. You have such a short amount of time to give us interesting characters and establish their world and who they are before throwing us right into the conflict.
