Free rides with NJ Transit for students—February 4–10

NJ TRANSIT will offer free rides to University students from February 4 through February 10, 2008, to give them the opportunity to experience how simple and convenient it is to use public transportation.   During the free trial week, students can ride any NJ TRANSIT bus, rail or light rail line for free by presenting their valid student ID and a Free Ride coupon available at www.njtransit.com (with registration).   After registration, students will immediately be able to print out the Free Ride coupon, valid for unlimited use throughout the free trial week.

How to Ride Free
+ Students are required to fill out a brief registration.
+ After registering, your free ride coupon will appear. Print it, and be sure to hold on to it. You will need to show that coupon every time you ride.
+ From February 4 through February 10, show your coupon and your valid college/post-secondary student ID to any NJ TRANSIT Bus Operator, Conductor, or Fare Inspector.
Travel on NJ TRANSIT for free as often as you like for the week!
