Becky Cloonan created this piece for an auction with proceeds to help David Pirkola.
David Pirkola, the owner and operator of the Apparitions Comics store in Michigan, was robbed at his store and shot by the robber. He’s in stable but critical condition. If you’re interested in helping, Ifanboy has set up a paypal fund to help cover his medical bills.

i love Beardsley, when i first saw his work when i was about 10 years old. my dad had one of his books, and i grabbed it from the shelf. i was hooked then on pen and ink, and flowing lines.
the sensuality of the lines that wrapped around the body, i felt like Alice, when she fell down the rabbit hole. i was in love and in a swoon over his work.
