Video: We Live in Public [nsfw]

We live in public trailer from RADAR on Vimeo.

In the late 90’s, Josh Harris was an internet pioneer. He founded Jupiter Communications and then Pseudo.com which provided streaming television before Youtube.

The documentary is about one of Josh Harris’s projects: We Live in Public.

The above video takes a while before it gets interesting, but once it does, it is amazingly captivating. And as any good trailer should do, it’s made me want to see the film. It’s beautiful in a repulsive sort of way.

The film is scheduled to premiere at Sundance.

Music Video: Andrew Peterson – Labor of Love / Nativity Story

This is a music video I cut together for my church’s Christmas service. The source footage is The Nativity Story and the song is Andrew Peterson’s “Labor of Love”.

The verse at the end is from Matthew 1:23

“Look! The virgin will conceive a child!
She will give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel,
which means ‘God is with us.’”

The video was edited on Adobe Premiere CS3 and finished on Adobe After Effects CS3.

Oh, Bernie Wrightson

Ninja December 17th, 2008

Whenever I visit my friends, Q and Nancy, I feel like I’ve just walked into a small comic shop. They’ve got all sorts of goodies scattered about their apartment—a framed still from Samurai Jack by the door (Nancy works at Cartoon Network), LEGO Clone Troopers battling on the window sill, bobble head toys on the desk, Hellboy by the kitchen, Fables by Nancy’s purse, Batman in the bedroom, Hulk in the bathroom, and there are other titles in their bookcases. During our last visit, I spied Bernie Wrightson’s Frankenstein on their coffee table and was reminded of how much I love this man’s line work.

Here are some clips of Bernie Wrightson at WonderFest, an annual monster model convention held in Louisville, KY. Enjoy!

Happy hump day,
