Bookends

bookends

I started my day delivering flowers and freshly baked scones to family, friends, and co-workers.

No occasion. Like, I need an excuse to bake. ^__^

I ended my day with a relaxing train ride home. The bumps and jolts of the train add character to the tree bark I’m drawing.

In between, I went to work and later attended my night class at SVA.

    Thanks for your kind words. This a very old drawing that I continue to work on, on and off. She's a wood nymph, so there will not be any wings.

    Wait a tick, you like scones? I was going to ship some out to you, but my scones are kind of like a cross between a biscuit and muffin top in terms of texture (not taste). I know you're anti-muffin, so I didn't want to chance it. Dah, I will bake for you next time, dearie!

    Rode the double-decker on the way in, and the single on the way out.
