The Morgan is hosting an exhibition of over 100 works from poet, painter, and printmaker, William Blake. A New Heaven Is Begun includes his 21 illustrations for the Book of Job, 12 drawings illustrating John Milton’s poems L’Allegro and Il Penseroso, Songs of Innocence and Experience: Shewing the Two Contrary States of the Human Soul, and The Marriage of Heaven and Hell
.
The show also features recorded readings of Blake’s poetry by Jeremy Irons.
