Since Penguin is busy working on his papers, I thought I’d post for him. ^__^ The other day, he showed me the Moon trailer, and it is awesome! As an added bonus, the original score is by Clint Mansel. The film hits theaters June 12th, 2009. I can’t wait!
I’m particularly fond of the computer, GERTY, who uses emoticon faces to express how he’s feeling (he’s like HAL 9000 with a face).
Where the Wild Things Are was written by Dave Eggers, directed by Spike Jones, scored by Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and featured Jim Henson Company creations.
I’m looking forward to seeing the Green Fuse Films origami documentary, Between the Folds. Between The Folds chronicles the stories of 10 fine artists, theoretical mathematicians and intrepid scientists who have abandoned conventional jobs and scoffed at hard-earned graduate degrees—all to forge lives as modern-day paperfolders.
