Animated short: Alma

Ninja January 19th, 2010

When we arrived in California, it was a warm 72 degrees, and we were all smiles. We left snow and ice on the east coast, so the constant sunshine and warm weather in January was surprising and welcomed. Every once in a while, I would find myself daydreaming about the falling snowflakes and making snowmen (before recalling bad memories of digging my car out from under 2 feet of snow).

For now, I’m satisfied to watch the snow and great storytelling through director Rodrigo Blaas’ first animated short film, Alma.

We’re engaged!!

Last weekend, Penguin got down on one knee and proposed to me at the Getty sculpture garden. I love him so much, and I can’t even fully express how happy and excited I am!!!

Ninja vs Penguin_California

My Christmas gift came early this year — I’ve been accepted into Art Center College of Design’s illustration program! And I cannot stop grinning. ^______________________^

I gave my two weeks notice today, and I still have a lot of loose ends to tidy up at work before I can get to packing for my cross-country move. So I will take a pause in blogging on NvP and continue back in the new year on January 17, 2010.

Happy holidays to you and your loved ones and much thanks for your friendship, kind comments, love, and support!

Hugs and peace,
Ninja
