The two of us have really hit our stride and she’s a dream to work with. I had the pleasure of working with her on the edit too.
Once we finished the rough cut, I replaced the proxy assets with the HD ones and rendered it out. Ninja and I spent the last half hour watching the 2 minute video over and over. It’s that good. I can’t to share it with everyone.
There’s still some fine tuning I need to do, but I know it works. Then it’s on to color correction. Yay!

We started our new project this past Sunday: Collide. We were shooting in a lot of hallways, so we had to set up people to control traffic. The team did a great job of managing them, but every once in awhile, someone would slip into the bathroom between takes. Luckily, there was only 1 or 2 shots ruined.
There were a lot of timing issues that we had to take into consideration, so we did a lot of rehearsing before we started shooting. Even though we got all the shots on the shot list, I wish we took some B roll of hands pushing doors open, etc. It’s nice to know that there’s other stuff we can cut to if we want. Or just having options. It’s so hard when you’re focused on making the day.
