The Blip Festival in Brooklyn will feature 40 artists and musicians remixing music and images from old school Nintendo, Commodore 64, Atari ST, Nintendo Game Boy and other gaming systems from days past.
Tickets for individual nights are available at the door, or for advanced purchase. Four-day festival passes are available at the door on first night only, or for advanced purchase.
Admission
$15 a night, $50 for a festival pass, or $60 for a festival pass and “Blip Festival 2006: The Videos” DVD.

On Saturday, Penguin and I volunteered at one of the All Points West vendor stands to raise money for international medical relief. As an added bonus, we got to see Radiohead play for free. What an absolutely amazing night!
Much thanks to the fellows standing next to me who offered their spots so I could get a better view. I do have some photos from the show, but being that I’m shorter than the rest of the Amazons in the crowd, they’re not that great (I’ll post them tomorrow).
