I really like the visual effects in this. The jump editing is kind of neat too. As much as I like jump edits, I know they’re not always appropriate. It’s a style that I would like to learn just so it’s another skill in the toolbox.
With no drum or piano experience, Lasse Gjertsen uses only basic timeline edits to look like a pro. Amazing and creative. Must’ve been a lot of work copying the cut sequences over and over.
This past weekend, I finished some final edits with Cupid’s Chokehold. Very many thanks to Jimmy for his initial rough cut. There were a lot of good ideas that I kept moving towards the final cut.
When I first started this project, there was this fear that we wouldn’t have enough footage. We ended up having too much footage. Which is a very good thing. But it forced me to cut some minor scenes.
Now it’s time to do some color correcting. Which I know nothing about.
