I’ve always wondered what it would be like if my two favorite musical crushes, Ben Gibbard and Leslie Feist, got together. I got my first taste when the Postal Service remixed Mushaboom. It left me wanting more!

Ben Gibbard and Feist do not disappoint as they join forces once again to cover Vashti Bunyan’s Train Song. Ben & Feist’s Train Song is just one track from the album, Dark Was the Night. This album is comprised of 31 exclusive tracks and proceeds will benefit the Red Hot Organization, an international charity dedicated to raising money and awareness for HIV and AIDS through popular culture.

I just stumbled across Amanda’s funny take on Feist’s 1234 (Sesame Street Version) from her show at the Brattle theatre. It features Michael McQuilken on the ukulele.
