I <3 Rilla Alexander from Rinzen! And my heart flutters even more at the sight of her darling penguin illustration for Fataim. OK, fine, it’s not all about the penguin — Noah’s whole ark is there — but naturally, I’m drawn to the penguin.

In her spare time (what spare time?), she writes for KCET and shares about her life in Los Angeles.

The Morgan is hosting an exhibition of over 100 works from poet, painter, and printmaker, William Blake. A New Heaven Is Begun includes his 21 illustrations for the Book of Job, 12 drawings illustrating John Milton’s poems L’Allegro and Il Penseroso, Songs of Innocence and Experience: Shewing the Two Contrary States of the Human Soul, and The Marriage of Heaven and Hell.

The show also features recorded readings of Blake’s poetry by Jeremy Irons.
