What if they made a live action Tetris movie? It would be amazing, that’s what! Here’s a taste of one possibility.

Master Flynn runs a gym where members embody Star Wars characters to harness the Force and improve their lives. Little does everyone know how real the Force is.
I don’t know if this is a trailer for a real movie or a fake trailer. But it’s funny, none the less. It seems like trailers are becoming the new art form, mini-stories in themselves.

Here’s the trailer for Tarsem Singh’s The Fall. Beautiful imagery, fantastic landscapes, and vibrant colors. For this alone, it’s on my list of movies to see. ^__^

Great little trailer where they cut up American Psycho and turned it into a romantic comedy. It’s great to see Christian Bale come this far. If he continues this trajectory, he’ll be one of the great actors of our time.

I normally don’t post about video games, but this one stood out to me. The animation was done by Production IG, the same people who are responsible for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and parts of Evangelion. Most games and computer animation in general, have a very particular style that looks computer generated. This was different. This really caught my eye.
I love the idea of using computers to render pencil drawings. I can’t help but wonder when they’ll be doing animation in ink, watercolors, or pastels. It really opens the doors for something beautiful and non-traditional. I also love the blend of technology and classic mediums.
If only they would animate a movie in this style.

This trailer captures the heart of independent film. You’ll do whatever you can to get your film shot and your story told. Gave me warm fuzzies inside

The Jumper trailer was released yesterday and it looks awesome. Bourne Identity was great. Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a lot of fun. I want to give Hayden Christianson a chance. I know Natalie Portman is a much better actor than what she gave on the prequel Star Wars, so I’m hoping that Christianson was limited by Lucas’s direction. The cast does have Samuel L. Jackson which is a huge plus.
Here’s the high-res trailer.
