Ads have always been about stories. Ad agencies are beginning to understand that and adjust accordingly. Does this make me want to go to go to JC Penny? No. But it begins to tell me that they’re trying to be hip and understand the needs of youth.

This weekend, Ninja and I went to the MoMA to see the Dali: Film and Art exhibit. We had the opportunity to see one of the shorts he had done for Disney (of all places). It was originally supposed to be included in Fantasia, but it was deemed too risque for the film.
Finally, in 2003, some Disney animators resurrected the short and put Destino together. If you can’t make it to the MoMA, you’ll be able to see it on Oct 3. Unfortunately, you’ll have to catch Beverly Hills Chihuahua as it’s attached to it. I would recommend watching Destino and then going home to watch Spellbound the Hitchcock film which features 3 dream sequences as painted by Dali.
our system can transfer photographic qualities such as high resolution, high dynamic range and better lighting from the photographs to the video. Additionally, the user can quickly modify the video by editing only a few still images of the scene. Finally, our system allows a user to remove unwanted objects and camera shake from the video.
The video is amazing. I would love to see the requirements such as rendering time and how many photographs would be necessary to enhance the video. If this ever gets down to the consumer level, it’ll be brilliant.
If you have a great tripod with a great head, then you have the potential for great pans and tilts. But sometimes the equipment is great, but your hand is not that steady. Rubber band to the rescue!
Strap a think rubber band to the handle and pull it in the direction you wan it to move. The rubber band acts like a shock absorber, dispensing energy as necessary.
